Foaled in 1998, High Y Black Tie is by Shaker's Alimon out of Tedwin Themesong, who is by Tedwin Topic out of Topfield's Alexandria.  Black Tie has clearly established himself as a great performer, having won world championships in pleasure driving in 1996 and 1999, interrupted by the World Championships in pleasure driving in amateur English Pleasure in 1998.  In the 1999 he was the reserve world champion in halter stallion for good measure.  His young breeding career has already resulted in world champion get such as Black Tie Optional.  Both Black Tie and his get show unique up headed appearance combined with great athleticism and showring presence.  This was High Y Black Tie's first appearance on the Circle J Futurity Auction Stallion Panel.
