Another champion stallion from the 1991 foaling year is Stonecroft Masquerade.  Masquerade is by Cedar Creek Harlequin and out of Carllion Command, a full sister to World Champion Park Horse Schiaparelli.  Masquerade is often called the miracle horse, because his life was saved by the devotion of his owner John Scheidt.  Those efforts were amply rewarded, as this former world champion has fulfilled his destiny as a breeding stallion.  His very first foal, Stonecroft Byzantine, went on to become a three time world champion, and the filly Stonecroft Solitaire is following close behind.  Masquerade stamps his get with the, "Masquerade Look" of good size, long neck, great poll flexion, and a beautiful distinctive head, and a marvelous way of going.
